In Chile, Bacardit gets in touch with diverse companies of theatre and starts, together with others artist, the company "Teatro sólo para locos." (Theatre only for madmen). The contact with the theatre drives her to working with the volume aiming to create masks and marionettes. For the sculptures mainly uses papyrolit and acrylic paint.

Probably, the central piece of this period is the big size sculpture "Woman bird ", work entrusted by the Cultural Center Las Condes of Santiago de Chile, that Bacardit dedicated to the dancer Carmen Amaya.

Of the same period are the human size puppets entrusted by the company " Theatre of the Silence", of Mauricio Celedón, for the play "Tacataca Mon Amour ".
